NewAE joins lowRISC Family

We’re excited to announce that NewAE Technology Inc., along with the ChipWhisperer IP, has found a new home under lowRISC. This acquisition will see the existing line of products, including ChipWhisperer and ChipSHOUTER product lines, continue to be built and supported by the NewAE Technology team you already know.

Our fundamental goal of colliding the worlds of open-source, academic, and commercial to build the most valuable and interesting security tooling and resources continues with even higher energy than before.

Moving forward, we’re excited to take on new projects and directions as part of lowRISC US, a new entity formed in the US by lowRISC CIC, which will combine lowRISC CIC’s experience building open-source security cores suitable for commercial deployment, with NewAE Technology’s experience in hardware security tooling and training material.

As a part of this growth, we are actively recruiting as we grow this new team and take on exciting new projects.
