Side Channel Analysis - often viewed as some magical witchcraft that is able to somehow recover encryption keys stored in hardware, behind unhackable silicon. Perhaps you've heard of it, but assume that it requires thousands of dollars of equipment, and a PhD to perform the analysis.
All of that is wrong. Side Channel Analysis is fundamentally no different from basic digital communications, and pulls in some physics you learned in high school about what happens when you move electrons (hint: it takes power). You can perform side-channel attacks on real systems for a few hundred dollars. We're dedicated to opening this field up to more researchers & engineers around the world, by offering open-source hardware & software solutions.
